We’re lucky, and thankful.

April 12, 2010

Sometimes, it’s good to put things in perspective. Watching The Slumdog Children of Mumbai or visiting a little wee premmie baby in King’s ICU makes me realise how precious, and fragile, life really is. And how lucky lucky lucky we are!  Selling bras may be fun/challenging but it’s really pretty inconsequential compared to the work of those incredible surgeons or dedicated charity workers. So when the deliveries are late, or the cash-flow super tight, or the colour bleeds, or the big account doesn’t come off (yes, John Lewis), I’ll take a deep breath, and remember how lucky I am. That’s it, worthy chat over. Have a good evening!
